Dr. Raghuveer Halkar
After completing MBBS and MD from India, I worked for 8 years in Kuwait . Then did my residency in Nuclear Medicine at Emory University Atlanta (GA) and PET fellowship at Creighton University Omaha( NE). I have been a faculty member in Emory University since 1994 and Professor of Radiology and Imaging Science since 2006. My research interests are imaging of kidneys with radionuclides and Decision support system to help resident doctor and junior physicians in Nuclear Medicine. I have served as board of Directors for 6 years in Intersocietal accreditation committee( IAC) and grant reviewer for NIH and Department of Defense. I am the recipient of " Marshall Brucer Award" from South Eastern Chapter of SNMMI for my contribution to the field of Nuclear Medicine. I am deeply involved in Global Health efforts at Emory University.
