TIF Board Member, TATAF Founding Member, Administrative Director at Chronic Care Center

Holder of Masters in Public Health in Health Services Administration from the American University of Beirut and completed a Fellowship in Health Services Administration in Henry Ford Health Systems, Michigan, USA. Appointed at the Chronic Care Center, the only specialized Center in the treatment of Thalassemia in Lebanon as the Administrative Director in 1994 and still holds position to-date. Involved in the On-going National Prevention program for Thalassemia launched by the Center and the Ministry of Social Affairs in 1994. Has a special interest in the organization of Disease specific Associations, in strategies, programs and evaluation of Prevention and management of hemoglobinopathies and has several publications in this field. Has been a founding member of the TIF Arab Thalassemia Associations ( TATAF). Currently a board member in the Thalassemia International Federation and ISPOR Lebanon chapter board member (Professional Society for Health economics and research outcomes).
